What we are doing this month:

French:   Reading comprehension, Literacy Centers, Writing stories with an interesting beginning, middle and end, using adjectives and similes, Poetry Unit.



English:  Writing stories with an interesting beginning, middle and end, using adjectives and similes, Spring Poetry Unit.



Math:   Writing numbers until 100,000. Greater than, smaller than, equal, adding and subtracting with regrouping, problem solving.



Social Studies:  Art and Culture of the three communities of Saskatoon, Meteghan and Iqaluit.



Science:   Living Systems: Understandings of the living world, Earth, and space are deepened by investigating natural systems and their interactions.



Art:  Integrating art of the Social Studies Unit, Indigenous Art, Spring Art.

Health:  What makes physical activity meaningful such as develop confidence and problem-solving skills, reduce stress etc. Different kinds of physical activity.

Discuss how roles are connected to character development and how they can support the development of talents, virtues and resilience. Positive role models can inspire individuals to develop personal talents and potential.

Religion:   Jesus has risen.

What we are doing this month

French:     Story writing with a beginning, middle and end and interesting adjectives and similes.  Easter reading comprehension.  Vocabulary games.  French presentations.

English:   Story writing with a beginning, middle and end and interesting adjectives and similes. Non fiction:  information about bats.  Collective nouns.

Math:   Adding and subtracting of two and three digit numbers with regrouping. Place value till 100,000. Multiplication. Two and three times multiplication tables. Problem solving. 

Science:   Different kinds of  materials and how they can change. We are integrating Science with Social studies. What we can make and construct with different kinds of materials.

Social Studies:   Natural Resources and man made materials.

Religion:   Lent and the Stations Of The Cross
