May 3rd       Hats on for mental health

May 4th     Fire Presentation

May 5th     Bat presentation

May 11th    Marian  Liturgy

May  22nd   Victoria day     ( No school for kids)

What we are doing in the month of May:

French:   Reading comprehension

Story writing with an interesting beginning, middle and end, using adjectives and similes.

Science:   Boats and Buoyancy   The kids have learned which objects float and sink. We have done a number of exciting experiments. I will keep you informed about building a boat with recycling materials. 

Math:  2-D and 3-D shapes  The children have learned how to identify the parts of 3-D shapes and how they are different from 2-D shapes.  How to tell the time.

Problem solving is ongoing

English: Story writing with an interesting beginning, middle and end.

Art:  Marian Liturgy Art

Health:  Zones of regulation, conflict resolution.
