What we have been doing in December:

French:   Story writing.   Reading comprehension with predictions, beginning, middle and end.

Math:    How to represent a three digit number in four different ways.

• in an expanded form 
• in pictures

The children are also practicing three digit numbers with manipulatives.

English:   We will be finishing our novel study of Grizzly Cove with reflection questions.

Art:   We are integrating Social Studies with Art. The children are working on an Inukshuk, a major landmark in the North.

Science:  Light and Shadows is ongoing

Social Studies:   The geographical, cultural landscape of the three communities of Canada, namely, Iqaluit, Saskatoon and Meteghan.

Health: Discussion of healthy eating habits and the Faith Theme of 2023-2024 Grit, Grace and Gratitude.
